Connecticut E2/Journeyman Electrician
Compensation: Highly competitive, commensurate with experience and skills. $35-50.
Green Earth Roofing Solutions is actively seeking a Connecticut licensed E2 Journeyman Electrician for Solar PV jobs.
Applicant/qualified individual must hold a valid and current CT E2 Electrical License
APPLICANT MUST HOLD VALID AND CURRENT CONNECTICUT E2 ELECTRICAL LICENSE

Qualified person must maintain an active Electrical License in Connecticut. No exceptions.

Qualified person must have solar experience. Commercial experience preferred.

Qualified person must maintain valid driver's license and pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Qualified individual must adhere to strict safety practices.

Must possess ability to read, interpret, and verify calculations and correct electrical plans.

Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as flexibility to move comfortably on a roof.

Physical requirements include climbing up and down ladders, crawling through tight spaces and sustained ability to work outside for several hours in different weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, snow.

Must be able to climb ladders and/or stairs; walk, stand and maintain balance on sloped surfaces such as roofs.

Must be able to withstand frequent sitting, walking, standing, climbing, stopping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing.

Solar Installer
Compensation: Highly competitive, commensurate with experience and skills.
Green Earth Roofing Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Installer to join our team. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of solar panels and related equipment, and prepping the installation site for solar. This is a hands-on position that requires physical labor and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Assist in the installation of solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops
-Assist in the installation of new commercial roofing systems, ground mount systems, or other site prep work for solar project or related labor.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards during installation
- Mount and secure solar panels using appropriate fixtures and equipment
- Assist with electrical wiring and connections as directed by the installation team
- Use power tools, hand tools, and other equipment to complete installation tasks
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to all safety regulations
Requirements:
-OSHA certification preferred but not required
-Valid driver's license required
- Previous experience in solar panel installation or construction field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of roofing and framing is prefered but not required
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions such as heat, humidity, rain, light snow is requied
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
